This is for those who ever said to themselves “What about me?”. God is simply saying I haven’t forgot about you so continue to wait. How many of you cried thinking everything that you do appears as a dark storm came and just poured on you? Poured to the point you’re drenched, uncomfortable and trying to figure out what to do next. How many of you ever had moments when you watched all those surrounding you receive a blessing that you were praying for countless nights? What did it feel like to watch others receive the blessing that you lost sleep for? How many doubted I will never see the vision because of that storm. I can say, I understand the pain, that you must feel as you cry wondering when it will be my turn God. Thinking he didn’t see the cries; it became silent and lonely inside. As you may begin to question did, I do anything wrong that I haven’t received the blessing. I am here to tell you; you did nothing wrong.

There was nothing that you did when you came into this world as you had no control over family, experiences, friends, or anything you may have had. The truth of the matter there was nothing you could have changed to receive the blessing. I want you to understand there is peace in patience which requires waiting. Exactly, what you’re waiting for is another question, only you and God know the answer for that. At the same time what you’re asking for…is it what God has in store for you? One thing about the creator is we can envision, imagine, and plan our life all we want. Ultimately in the end God will get what He wants. It may seem hard to understand now because your steady asking God “What about me?”. I want you to remember this according to Ecclesiastes 3:1 “to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”. In that enjoy the peace in patience because it will come.
There are times it may seem hard as you may doubt, become fearful, anxious, and any other thing you may face. Just know God has not forgotten about you as He will always give you peace in the wait. Not a peace as the world will give you but, His good and acceptable peace. The waiting period is for him to do a new in you. When others are being blessed celebrate their victories because God knows your heart and knows what you are feeling. Celebrate their victory for God is great, and wonderful and ready to aim you higher than before. It’s in the waiting that you are tested in your faith. Trust me, I know because you will have thoughts of him forgetting about you but, he already told you in his written word he will never leave you nor forsake you. Your creator is great and awesome as he has plans for you. Just remember there is peace in patience.
When you feel alone at night just know he hears your cries as God himself is just orchestrating what He has for you and only you. So yes, take a backseat and watch what the creator is about to do for you. Yet, in the waiting do not faint in well doing. As you continue to press forward remind yourself of his written word. Remember what I said in a previous blog Jeremiah 29:11 he knows the plans he has for you. We must recognize when you are great in the sight of God, He is just preparing to take you to the next level. To get to the next level, you must be pruned, to be cleansed. Have you ever drunk prune juice, or coffee I would even say for some. What effects does prune juice, or coffee have on your body? Well, think of it just like that the junk must come out until you are purified as he sees fit. Yes, it takes time but, enjoy and trust the process as this is a process that is much needed.

I can personally say there is truly peace in patience as you draw close to him in a relationship. Here is the thing the more you draw near to God the more he will reveal you. Are you ready for what he has for you? This is the time of honesty within yourself to be the best version of you. For example, you ask well what about me right? If God gave you what you truly asked for can you be honest enough with yourself and say you are ready? Think about it for a second, sometimes what we are asking for we are not even prepared for. Enjoy the waiting period because in that time he will give you peace if you just ask. What did he say, “you have not because you ask not”. I can relate as it is hard to see others be blessed or live out what you thought you deserve. It’s hard as you lose things while others around you are gaining. It’s hard knowing that you are going through a period of longsuffering. Yes, it’s hard. But did you not remember when you chose to walk after Christ you were going to endure…did you not remember that. Did you not remember when you had an intimate conversation with God in secret you told him “Yes” I will do your will. If you forgot God didn’t, he remembered.
He remembers what you even told him as a little child, “God if you will bless me than I would….”. He remembered the broken pieces along the way. He is just trying to create a new thing in you. So yes, what about you? But even more God is asking you do you have faith in Him? So, sit with your creator allow him to minister and pour into you as there is Peace in Patience. Not just peace of your surroundings but peace of mind where the true peace begins. How many of you want God’s peace?
